Just been listening to music and thought of which group I could pick as my favourite band. I couldn’t separate these three and thought it would be nice if I shared them with you guys.
My personal favourite. They came back on stage after a three-year hiatus in 2014 and as always didn’t fail to impress. Their first album Dark Before Dawn, with an all new lineup except Benjamin Burnley, went on to sell more than seven million units and led to two RIAA-certified platinum records, two gold records and several certified singles, including one multi-platinum, three platinum and three gold, plus a number one record on the Billboard 200 list. They have been around for almost two decades and their music never gets old. Some of their hits include: Blow Me Away, Give Me a Sign, The Diary of Jane, Breath, Until The End, I Will Not Bow among others.
3 Doors Down
They became a household name among rock fans with their first hit single Kryptonite which charted in the top three on the Billboard 100 list after which they went on to release their debut album. In 2000, the album ranked the 11th best-selling album of the year and was certified 6x platinum in the US. In 2002, their second album Away From the Sun also did well debuting at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the hit song Here Without You. All their subsequent albums also did very well in the charts their last being released in 2011. Let us hope they are whipping up something great ready to make a comeback.
Relatively recent if compared to the above. A decade old and still going strong. Arguably one of the best bands in the post-grunge sub-genre. The band was formed by Chris Daughtry, who finished fourth in the 2006 American Idol. Daughtry was an instant success spawning hits such as It’s Not Over, Feels Like Tonight and What About now. We are still waiting for their fifth album which is due anytime from now.
